Founded in 2023 by Vanessa Francis Gray, AICP, VFG Consulting Group brings together Vanessa's nearly two decades of diverse experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors to provide exceptional consulting and coaching services to a wide range of clients.
With a background in urban planning and a passion for professional development, Vanessa is uniquely positioned to help organizations and individuals achieve their leadership, strategy, and career goals.
VFG Consulting Group Journey
Vanessa's journey to establishing VFG Consulting Group began with her training at the Flatter Leadership Academy, a leadership coaching program offered by the Department of Army, where she serves as a civilian employee. Recognizing her immense potential, Vanessa's mentor coaches encouraged her to put her newfound coaching skills into practice immediately. This led her to work with professionals from various industries, including travel, new media, federal government, and technology.
Building upon the success of her initial coaching endeavors, Vanessa founded VFG Coaching. As her client base grew and her expertise expanded, she realized that her diverse skill set could benefit an even broader range of clients. Thus, VFG Coaching evolved into VFG Consulting Group.
